Dutoit Europe B.V. is the link between the producer and the consumer. As Dutoit, we are the source for stone fruit, grapes, top fruit, citrus, sweet potatoes and pineapples. Together with other producing partners, we specialize in numerous products, like citrus from overseas regions.

Our fruit is exclusively sourced from companies with their own production, and our excellent connections with the retailers bring us as close to the end-consumer as possible. Our company is the source and offers you excellent infrastructure and facilities thanks to its location at the heart of Rotterdam's fruit port.

We have flexible packing facilities that are situated in modern locations, with all transportation methods at our disposal. Our storage facilities meet the highest quality requirements. Our organization is known for its no-nonsense approach and is supported by low operational costs. We add value to your needs wherever possible by being flexible and transparent.

Our History

Dutoit Europe B.V. originates from 3rd August 1919 and started with the production and auctioneering of local apples, pears and cherries. The company was founded by Nicolaas de Jong in a barn alongside the municipality-office in Bunnik.

The second generation, Christiaan de Jong, moved the company to “de Schoudermantel” in Bunnik, alongside the railway, where a period of consolidation took place.

The third generation, Nico de Jong, started with importing and exporting fruit. Imports came initially from European countries (mainly France), whereafter the Southern Hemisphere followed.

Since the 1980’s the company is managed by the fourth generation. In the year 2000 the company moved to their current location in Rotterdam, as it wanted to be close to the fruitport in order to be cost-effective.

In 2017 the company went back to their production roots and initiated a successful joint venture with the Dutoit family in Ceres, South Africa, a leading producer and distributor of superior fruit and vegetables

Today, 100 years after our forefathers started the company, we are the direct producer connection for European-based customers and retailers; As a service provider, Dutoit Europe is adding value to the supply chain for overseas fruit and providing the best service at the lowest cost.
